U2F support is now available on Android and iOS.

We’ve just brought a huge improvement to the Tutanota Android and iOS apps: you can now use any USB or NFC hardware token to protect your login credentials on the Tutanota app. This update once again shows that Tutanota excels in security and privacy.

We are pleased to announce that we have updated the Tutanota app for Android and iOS. This release demonstrates that at Tutanota security is of utmost importance as we strive to bring you the most secure email service possible .

Support U2F on all clients

Both apps, iOS and Android, now support Betting Data U2F keys – the most secure way to protect your login credentials. This update complements the launch earlier this year, when we added support for U2F on the desktop client .

Here we explain why U2F is important and why it is the most secure two-factor authentication option.

If your device supports USB or NFC hardware tokens, you can now use hardware security tokens on iOS and Android.

We recommend setting up two-factor authentication in Tutanota now to protect your login from malicious attacks such as phishing .

When adding a second factor, write down the recovery code that is shown to you, too!

You can also now use the Share To option from many apps to attach files or images or add text directly to a new message in Tutanota on your iPhone or iPad.

This should now work flawlessly for most applications.

Since there are an unlimited number of apps, however, it’s possible that Tutanota appears in the share menu of some apps but doesn’t yet know Afghanistan Phone Number List  about those apps’ add-ons, or some apps may not even appear in the share menu.

In this case it would help us a lot if you could get in touch so that we can support common applications that are not yet included in this release.
